THE DOCENT - OPENING NIGHT/FAREWELL PARTY
Join us for a very special evening at Lakewood Playhouse as we celebrate the opening night of The Docent — our first-ever World Premiere production — and a moment of tremendous growth, change, and community.
Following the performance, stay with us for a special celebration honoring the incredible journey Lakewood Playhouse has been on and the departure of our Producing Artistic Director, Joseph C. Walsh.
For the past several years, Joseph has worked alongside artists, audiences, students, volunteers, donors, staff, and board members to help build a stronger, more vibrant Lakewood Playhouse. This evening is an opportunity to celebrate that work — but most importantly, to celebrate the people who make this theatre a community.
Come celebrate:
The world premiere of The Docent
The artists who brought this story to life
The growth of Lakewood Playhouse
The many people who have helped shape its future
The next chapter for Lakewood
And the community we have built together
See the show. Stay for the party. Raise a glass. Share a story. Celebrate what has been — and what comes next.
Lakewood Playhouse is a community because of YOU.
The opening night of The Docent is on Friday, October 9th, at the earlier start time of 7:00pm.
