Opened September 6, 2002 and ran through September 29, 2002
A comedy for the whole family, this Wilder classic follows the manipulations of Dolly Levi as she seeks to snare rich Horace Vandergelder in marriage. She meddles in everyone's love affairs meanwhile with hilarious results. Also the writer of Our Town, Thornton Wilder succeeds in giving us an uproariously entertaining play with reflections of wealth, poverty and the adventure of living that sets the mind a whirl. And of course this is the stage play on which the musical, Hello Dolly, was based.
The play's cast includes: Peter Punzi (columnist for The News Tribune), Kelly Johnson as Dolly Levi, Annette Miles, Stacey Gassman, Scott Campbell, Chad Russell, Jeff Hansen, Christine Burton, David May, Mark Hockman, Carolyn Castaneda, Jack Daniel, and Keith Eisner of Olympia as Horace Vandergelder. Set design by Erin Chanfrau, Lights by Kris Zetterstrom, directed by David Domkoski.
