Lakewood Playhouse was founded in 1938. They currently have a 180-seat theatre in the Seattle/Tacoma metropolitan area, at the Lakewood Towne Center.
As the Lakewood Playhouse is about to present its 76th Season of Plays which includes: Agatha Christie's AND THEN THERE WERE NONE (Based on her Novel "Ten Little Indians"), Louisa May Alcott's LITTLE WOMEN, the Lakewood Institute of Theatre's A YEAR WITH FROG & TOAD - The Musical, GLENGARRY GLEN ROSS, THE MIRACLE WORKER, THE 39 STEPS and DROOD: THE MUSICAL (Based on "The Mystery of Edwin Drood" by Charles Dickens).
The Managing Artistic Director is currently John Munn. Our Administrative Staff Includes: Production Manager Nena Curley, Business Director Karen Christensen, Education Director Jeremy Thompson, Community Development Coordinator James Venturini, Technical Director Larry Hagerman, Education Production Manager Deborah L. Armstrong, Master Electrician Dylan Twiner and Box Office Manager Wendy Huber.
